My Work

I am a museum professional who has several years of experience working cross departmentally in Registration, Multimedia, Education, and Curatorial. As a Gainesville local and activist, I have worked closely with non-profit organizations, such as the Harn Museum of Art. I first began at the Harn Museum of Art as a MUSE (student volunteer) and later worked my way into their internship program as an Education Assistant and Multimedia Editor. As an intern, I help manage TMS, shoot promotional content, plan community events, and create infographics for educational use. I am a leader and an innovator. I am dedicated to creating welcoming and intentional spaces in museums, supported by thoughtful research and building connections with the community.

Additionally, I am a visual artist who has a strong interest in painting and animation. I have exhibited my artworks both nationally and internationally. As an interdisciplinary artist, I hope to transcend viewers into a space of understanding. My artistic is heavily influenced by my culture, family, and identity as a second-generation American. Indigineity both culturally and ecologically really inspires me as my concepts are supported by art and geographical research. During my time at UF, I developed a passion for the intersection of art and technology. Through my studies, I have experimented with stop-motion, 2D, and 3D animation in which I bring ideas to life.

I have a range of skills which have allowed me to thrive professionally, but what I am most fond of is my ability to connect with others and lead. I am an artist, an activist, and a woman of color, and I use the tools around me to bring people together in emotion and in action.
